Drafting Newspaper Advertisement

I was placed in charge of creating the newspaper advert so it was up to me to produce it. We discussed ideas regarding what to put on the advert, then once we had a solid idea I sketched it and Lauren and Taylor both approved it. We decided that we wanted to get a group of people to wear white t-shirts and then we would write stereotypes on them once we had uploaded the photos onto Adobe Photoshop. We then took the idea one step further and decided to challenge the audience preconceived ideas by writing the opposite of the stereotype the model would be perceived as. Below is the rough sketch I drew of the print advert.

As we scheduled our documentary to be shown on BBC 3, it is important to note that the BBC do not usually use print media advertisements. However, we decided that our print advert would be shown in magazines printed by the BBC such as the Radio Times and Top Of The Pops. Ideally, we would also like it to appear in other popular teenage publications such as Kerrang! and Teen Now in order to be directly shown to our target audience.
